Our story
Scan-Thor was founded in Copenhagen in 1979 by Knud Thor Larsen. Today the head office is placed in Herning, Denmark.
The Scan-Thor Group has more than 150 dedicated employees employed in 15 countries. Throughout the history we have built strong relationships with key suppliers in all our markets.
Commencing our operations in 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya, we’ve embarked on a dynamic journey that has seen substantial growth. Over the years, we’ve not only expanded our presence but have also ventured into diverse sourcing markets. Today, with an additional office in Ethiopia and active engagement in North and West Africa, our footprint spans across the continent.
